Very happy to see my Crew / Kāhui out now in this ground-breaking anthology, Short | Poto – The big book of small stories | Iti te kupu, nui te kōrero. This is one of New Zealand’s first truly bilingual literary anthologies, and it’s already getting great reviews.
Poto is published by Massey University Press and edited by Michelle Elvy and Kiri Piahana-Wong.
Poto gathers one hundred flash fiction pieces (three hundred words and less) in English and te reo Māori featuring established writers like Owen Marshall, Vincent O’Sullivan, Tina Makereti, and Tusiata Avia alongside emerging voices, showcasing the diversity of Aotearoa through a wide array of lived experiences.
