I wrote Lady On A Train about the suffragette Emily Davidson.
A teacher, one of the huge prices she paid for her political activism was to be banned from her much-loved vocation, teaching, so I am really happy to see her in Pure Slush’s Work (Vol 5 in the Lifespan series).
